HYDROXYL AIR TREATMENT
Many times with water damage, airborne contaminants are released. This is especially true when the water comes from an unsanitary source or is not extracted and dried quickly. Hydroxyl generators can minimize airborne contaminants and odors when operated on a drying project. The -OH molecule created by these machines inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold. The indoor air does not need to circulate through the hydroxyl generator. The molecules created fill the room or building and penetrate porous materials like furniture to inhibit growth in all areas. The manufacturers claim that this method of air treatment is 33% more effective at oxidizing pollutants than ozone generators.
