WATER DAMAGE INSURANCE DOCUMENTATION
From the start of a water damage restoration or structural drying project, QCI Inc.’s IICRC certified water restoration technicians will collect photos and infrared thermal images. These images will document the extent of the water damage and often the source. They are provided at the completion of the job, sent via email at a smaller resolution, and always available at full size if needed.
Other document provided at the completion of a water damage project include a moisture migration map, reading location diagram, a record of moisture content (showing moisture readings from affected areas throughout the drying process), and a record of drying conditions (documenting humidity readings from affected areas, unaffected areas if present, outdoors, and from the dehumidifiers).
